Ramón opened Café Verdún in 2017. By late 2023, he was paying a “social media manager” 600 €/mo for content he’d describe as “generic Madrid stuff in a café in Valencia”. He quit her in March and tried doing it himself. Eleven pm posts. Half the time he forgot.
He switched to Kompa in January 2026. The first week, he told the agent his menu, his suppliers, the regulars by name, and his accent — a Valencian directness he didn’t want softened.
The first reservation through Instagram came on day 9. By month 4, his Instagram brings in a third of his weekend bookings.
