Connect WhatsApp and verify your number
Verify your WhatsApp number so Kompa can message you when there's content to approve — no new app, no password, just the number you already use.
You verify your WhatsApp number from your user profile at app.heykompa.com, in the WhatsApp section under My account. It takes two steps — enter your number and confirm the code you get by WhatsApp — and from then on Kompa pings you there whenever there’s content to approve.

What to do
Go to My account → WhatsApp section. Enter your number in the Your WhatsApp number
field, with your country code (e.g. +34 612 345 678), and tap Send code.
What happens next
Kompa sends a 6-digit code by WhatsApp to that same number.

Confirm the code
What to do
Copy the 6-digit code you get by WhatsApp, paste it into the 6-digit code field in the WhatsApp section of My account and tap Confirm.
The code expires in 10 minutes
You get 5 attempts to enter it; if you run out, or 10 minutes pass, request a new one with Resend. If the code is slow to arrive, wait at least 60 seconds before resending — that’s the minimum time between sends.

Change number
Once you confirm the code, Kompa sends its first WhatsApp message and you can start approving, editing or rejecting content by replying right there.
Change your number later
If you switch numbers or want to re-verify the one you have, go to My account → WhatsApp section. Verification is the same two steps: enter the new number and confirm the 6-digit code sent to it by WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a WhatsApp Business number?
No. You use the WhatsApp number you already have on your phone — no extra app or business account needed.
Will Kompa message my customers from that number?
No. That number is for Kompa to message you — approvals, alerts and commands — not to talk to your customers.
Can I use the same number on two Kompa accounts?
No, each verified WhatsApp number can only be linked to one account.
What if the code doesn't arrive?
Wait at least 60 seconds and tap Resend. If it still doesn't arrive, check the number has WhatsApp active and the right country code.
